Regulations for Application

  1. How to apply 

Application materials should be submitted via postal service and send to:

Centre for International Affairs, Office of Research and Development National Taiwan Sport University

No.250, Wenhua 1st Rd., Guishan, Taoyuan 33301, Taiwan (R.O.C.)

Please paste Envelop Cover Sheet (see Attachment 2) onto the envelope Attachment of your  application packet.

  1. Required documents 
  1. Check list (see Attachment 1)
  2. A complete application form with a recent 2 inch photograph (see Attachment 3).
  3. The highest level certificate or equivalent academic qualification and official transcript of full semesters (these documents must be provided or translated in Chinese or English) English).
  4. Certification of finances: A certificate of account balance or scholarship. An official certificate of account balance with a minimum amount of NTD 100,000 (or USD 3,300) issued within three months of the application date by a financial institution. If the depositor of the certificate is not the applicant, a financial guarantee is also required (see Attachment 4).
  • Attachment A certificate of full scholarship provided by a government agency, university, college or private organization.

Department of Sports Training Science Athletics

  1. Best competition records in track and field, weight lif ting, gymnastics, and archery.
  2. An autobiography.

Department of Sports Training Science Balls

Best competition records in badminton, tennis, table tennis, baseball, basketball or golf.

Department of Sports Training Science Combats

Best competition records in Taekwondo, Judo, shooting, martial arts, or fencing.

Graduate Institute of Athletics and Coaching Science

  1. Applicants for the doctoral program should submit a Chinese or English research proposal.
  2. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a Chinese or English study plan
  3. A proof of Chinese proficiency is preferred.

College of Physical Education

Department of Sport Promotion

  1. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a Chinese or English study plan.
  2. A proof of Chinese proficiency is preferred.

Department of Adapted Physical Education

  1. Applicants for the doctoral program should submit a Chinese or English research proposal and publications within the last three years.
  2. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a Chinese or English study plan.
  3. A proof of Chine se proficiency is preferred.

Graduate Institute of Physical Education

  1. Applicants for the doctoral program should submit a Chinese or English research proposal and publications within the last three years.
  2. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a Chinese or English study plan.
  3. A proof of Chine se proficiency is preferred.

College of Exercise and Health Sciences

Department of Athletic Training and Health

  1. An autobiography (Applicants for the master’s program should include research experience and research proposal).
  2. A proof of Chinese proficiency is preferred.

Note. Bachelor’s Program only accept the application of the Fall semester.

Graduate Institute of Sports Science

  1. Curriculum vitae which includes research experience and publications.
  2. A research proposal.

College of Management

Department of Recreation and Leisure Industry Management

  1. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a research proposal.
  2. A proof of Chinese proficiency is preferred.

Graduate Program of International Sport Affairs

  1. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a Chinese or English study plan.
  2. A proof of Chinese proficiency is preferred.

Doctoral Program of Transnational Sport Innovation Management

Doctoral Program of Transnational Sport Innovation Management

  1. Applicants for the doctoral program should submit a research or project proposal in English or Chinese and publications/working experience within the last three years.
  2. A proof of Chinese or English proficiency is preferred.
  • Applicants shall take all responsibilities for incomplete application materials, which will cause delays in processing the application. No submitted application materials will be returned.
