The National College of Physical Education and Sports was founded in 1987 as an incubator for athletic and sporting talent. In 2008, the school was reorganized as National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU), becoming the nation’s first university dedicated to nurturing physical education talent in the fields of athletics, sports, health, and leisure.

NTSU’s expansive and well-maintained 62-hectare campus embraces an exceptional teaching environment, which includes an administrative district, a sports training & competition area, a residential area, sports & leisure area, and an outdoor recreation area.
