  1. How to apply 

Application materials should be submitted via postal service and send to:

Please paste Envelop Cover Sheet (see Attachment 2) onto the envelope Attachment of your  application packet.

  1. Required documents 
  1. Check list.
  2. A complete application form with a recent 2 inch photograph.
  3. The highest-level certificate or equivalent academic qualification and official transcript of full semesters which were authenticated by ROC Embassies or Missions Abroad (these documents must be provided or translated in Chinese or English).
  4. Certification of finances: A financial statement with a minimum balance of US$3,300 (or TWD 100,000) or a copy of a scholarship award notification. Please select one of the following methods:

Please select one of the following methods: A financial statement that demonstrates financial sustainability for study in Taiwan (issued by a financial institution within the past three months).
    2. If the depositor of the certificate is not the applicant, a financial guarantee is also required.
    3. A certificate of full scholarship provided by a government agency, university, college or private organization.
  5. Certification of Language.
  6. Application fee: Application fee for each application are as follows. Please select “OUR” for payment in the Outward Remittance Application Form of your bank. Any associated remittance fees are to be paid by the remitter. Please note that application fees will not be refunded.

Department of Sports Training Science-Athletics

  1. Best competition records in track and field, weight lifting, gymnastics, archery, or swimming.
  2. An autobiography.
  3. A proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.

TOCFL level A2 or above.

Department of Sports Training Science-Balls

  1. Best competition records in badminton, tennis, table tennis, men’s baseball, men’s basketball, women’s volleyball, or golf.
  2. A proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.

TOCFL level A2 or above.

Department of Sports Training Science-Combats

  1. Best competition records in Taekwondo, Judo, shooting, martial arts, or fencing.
  2. A proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.

TOCFL level A2 or above.

Graduate Institute of Athletics and Coaching Science

  1. Applicants for the doctoral program should submit a Chinese or English research proposal.
  2. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a Chinese or English study plan.
  3. For the master’s program, a proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.
  4. For the doctoral program, a proof of Chinese and English language proficiency is required.

Department of Sport Promotion

  1. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a Chinese or English study plan.
  2. A proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.

  1. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a Chinese or English autobiography and study plan.
  2. A proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.

Graduate Institute of Physical Education

  1. Applicants for the doctoral program should submit a Chinese or English research proposal and publications within the last three years.
  2. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a Chinese or English study plan.
  3. A proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.

TOCFL level A2 or above.

College of Exercise and Health Sciences

Department of Athletic Training and Health

  1. An autobiography (Applicants for the master’s program should include research experience and research proposal).
  2. A proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.

Note. Bachelor’s Program only accept the application of the Fall semester.

TOCFL level B1 or above.

Graduate Institute of Sports Science

  1. Curriculum vitae which includes research experience and publications.
  2. A research proposal.
  3. A proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.

Department of Recreation and Leisure Industry Management

  1. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a research proposal.
  2. A proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.

Master Program of International Sport Affairs

  1. Applicants for the master’s program should submit a Chinese or English study plan.
  2. A proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.

Doctoral Program of Transnational Sport Innovation Management

  1. Applicants for the doctoral program should submit a research or project proposal in English or Chinese and publications/working experience within the last three years.
  2. A proof of Chinese language proficiency is required.

Admissions Quota

According to the "MOE Regulation Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan,” the quota for admission allocated for international students at universities should not exceed ten percent of the number of quotas allocated for local student each academic year.
